A discussion with my Co-workers yesterday prompted me to make a list of my own, but me being the guy i am i had to do it my way, here is a list of the top 10 of my generation.
(My choices have been based on Lyrics, Consistency, Longevity and the impact made on music then and now!)

A Rugged Sole....

A failed attempt to shoot a lounge this evening led me down west 4th to see what visual inspiration i could gather up before i got home. Shout out to my man "Suave" for letting me shoot his spot not knowing who i was, or where the pics would land, they need not worry though its all positive.
Its the spot in the cut if your an "In- and- Out" shopper (like myself) personally i like going to a store where you can get familiar with the staff get your size and then out the door but her thats just me. Rugged Sole is the spot for what ya want.
This cool brotha was nice enough to take a pic of one of the hottest kicks of the season. Shout out to my boy Leo, dont fight it, buy it, they look even better in person.... droolin!

Up all night....

Every Friday, Saturday or sometimes Sumday (sabbath for some) i come to one of these clubs and take pictures of strangers who are either thrilled to see me or irritated by my presence. When i first started i would always get a little nervous before the shoot because of the potential rejection i might face at the party by women who either have no interest in me or are gonna be too drunk to remember how many pictures they took which is a shame, because they wont be able to post them on their face book page.........but hey you know what after careful self analyzation I thought about it, who am i to judge,most of these people aren't trying to be what the portraying to be, but i guess in the moment, when the camera is pointed, drinks are flowing, friends are looking great, just got paid,bagged some numbers,made some decisions (GOOD and BAD),i guess that flash represents how fast this life can go, so i guess for now, fuck it try....... and stay up all night.

Dot Calm the Poet

The young man in the photo goes by the name Dot, a Poet and "Loyal Squad 718" affiliate. The RIP "Spud" spray painted on the building, is that of a mutual friend, and although Dot was much closer to him, we both share the empathy of an unnecessary death.

This is an example of wat i do, i have a strong attraction to the camera and for some reason it isn't going away, the light at the end of my tunnel is the SB-600 flash...it just has to be!
